The Jetty

We are really lucky to live practically on the water. ( we are on the wrong side of the street to get water frontage!). One of the kids favourite things to do is to walk down to the jetty which is down the street. They love to feed the ducks and collect rocks. While they have liked the jetty since we moved here only recently have they actually wanted to go on it as it is pretty old and often looks like it is about to colapse at any moment. but the day i took this picture ( last wednesday) i swear Daniel nearly ran right off the end of it as he was so excited to be at the jetty!!! The Jetty is such a favourite that i can use it to bribe the kids when i need a good bribe. It almost always works when i say "if you do this we can go to the jetty tomorrow"!
