Today is the first day of my maternity leave. For the next six months I dont have to think about or talk about bank accounts, interest rates, homeloans, etc ( except my own of course!). I loved leaving the bank last night ( with a cool bag of goodies for the baby from everyone) knowing that I dont have to return for some time. While I will miss the great pay each fortnight I definately wont miss the pressure and politics of work , and will enjoy being home all the time.
The Second reason why today is so good is because today I will find out the baby's birth date. I am being booked in for my c-section today. It will be so good to know when it's coming so I can feel more orgainsed. I love knowing the day I am going in, and love even more knowing I dont have to worry about going overdue! They are the few positives to having to have a c-section, as even though it will be my third the nerves and the stress over it arent any less third time around!
And finally the third reason why today has become so good is that I received a 15% discount voucher for pumpkin patch today in the mail so I am off to buy some final baby things before my doctors appointment, as I cant let any discount voucher for pumpking patch go to waste!!!!

Not long to wait now!! Maternity leave is the best hey.
Now that IS a great day!!! Hope you got some cool stuff at Pumpkin Patch!!! Good luck with the C section.... it must be nerve racking going in on the day.... but also nice to not have to worry about being overdue and not being able to plan anything because you don't know when it's going to flammin' come!!
